Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 29, 2026
MeshWrite ("we", "our") is built as a commercial, offline-first application. This page serves to inform customers, users, and closed-beta testers of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.
1. Information Collection and Use
Because MeshWrite operates entirely client-side, **we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, user credentials, or markdown document files**. All notes, drafts, and configurations reside inside your local sandboxed device container.
2. Local Storage Persistence
Your memos are stored persistently on your device using AsyncStorage (for mobile applications) or standard browser cache/localStorage. This data is not uploaded to our servers. You remain the sole owner of your files.
3. Third-Party Services
The app does not use third-party analytics, tracking tools, advertisement frameworks, or cloud reporting engines. No tracking cookies are stored.
4. Security of Data
The security of your local data is highly important to us. MeshWrite utilizes native device encryption models and secure local caches to protect your written data. However, remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we recommend backing up your files.
5. Children's Privacy
Our services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
7. Contact Us
If you have any questions or feedback regarding this Privacy Policy or your testing environment, feel free to contact us at **[email protected]**.
